Posters can be background art-style, like last year's Earth Week posters, or you can include event details in your design submission, like the Day of Sustainability, both below. Please add the logos for VCU Goes Green, Green Unity for VCU, MCV SGA, VCU SGA, and VCU Medical Center Goes Green. The details/dates of events are:
  • Monday, April 18, 12-2pm - Film Screening of Food Inc., Court End Ballroom A, Larrick Center
  • Tuesday, April 19, 12-3pm - Green Lunch & Urban Farm Tour with Tricycle Gardens, Jackson Ward Room, Larrick Center
  • Wednesday, April 20, 11am-3pm - Alternative Transportation Fair ft. Segway Tours, Larrick Plaza
  • Thursday, April 21, 11am-3pm - Main Event with Free Food, Live Entertainment, Prizes, Farmer's Market & Green Vendors, Kontos Plaza
  • Friday, April 22, 11am-2pm - Earth Day with Free Food, Prizes, Green Vendors and more, Student Commons Plaza (Rain location: Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballroom)
Facebook allows posting of image formats like jpg and gif. We will ask select entrants for high resolation formats, like pdf or ems files. The winning entry will be printed on 11"x17" poster paper, and displayed on MPC and MCV campuses and in the Richmond community. If your design isn't already 11"x17" we can work with you to adapt your image to this format if you are a contest finalist. Poster entrants agree to let VCU and related parties use their design online and in print with no monetary compensation for their design. This contest is open to any person in the Richmond, VA community. You do not need to be a VCU student to submit an entry or be eligible for a chance to win prizes. One individual can submit multiple entries if they wish, but any one individual is eligible to win at most a single prize. Thanks for all of your entries, and may the best eco-artist win!
